Nutrition is a very important factor in your health mentally and physically.

To be successful with any goal you have, whether it be losing weight, gaining muscle tissue or sports performance, you have to have some idea where your calories are coming from:

Counting your calories (macronutrients), which come from carbohydrates, proteins, and fats.

1 gram of carbs = 4 calories

1 gram of protein = 4 calories

1 gram of fat = 9 calories

Example: If your total intake of carbs for the day is 125 grams, your calorie intake from carbs for the day would be (125 grams x 4 calories ) 500 calories
